Problems staying connected
so earlier today i went to do a raid and lagged out in the middle of it. later ive tried to go on my main and every time that i go on i get a few seconds to do something before it lags insanely to the point that i can move around but nothing else can but they cant load either if i go farther on or talk etc. i tried going on BT and it worked fine so any ideas on what to do?

Re: Problems staying connected
I have the same issue. I don't get it.
I can't talk or cast or anything except move and I can't get into any chat channels

Re: Problems staying connected
i tried cache first it could be a realm wide issue since when i went on BT it worked perfectly. never i think you and me are gonna have to make a post on FM support about it
Re: Problems staying connected
I think... that the guild is overfull. I've seen this same issue on Nexus with guilds.
Maybe we need to kick some of the low level absentees out.
Which brings me to another thing;
I think Hurricane's need the ability to kick people out.
And I don't even have a Cache.
Edit:
I've narrowed it down to I only have a problem with my Paladin and my Druid. My warrior that is in the guild is just fine. My Out of guild characters are just fine as well.
... So I don't know what the problem is.
Though the guild clean up wouldn't be a bad idea, we're at 804 members at this time and there are a lot of 2+ month inactive Hailstones...

bump
Also, disable addons and you'll be able to port back the the GH if you're stuck anywhere, but as soon as I was in, I lagged out again because I looked at the guild list.

Doesn't explain why it only affects certain characters.

Re: Problems staying connected
It has to be the server if my other characters on the same realm work.
It could be the guild because of the symptoms I recognize of an overfull guild.

You said you weren't having any trouble.
and this is an old issue.Jurtbirt wrote:Plus it takes a good 5-10 minutes just to get to the char selection screen from log in
What's happening to me and Jewker is that we can get in and log into our characters just fine. But once we're in we can't talk, cast, or use any items or interface properties (log out, tickets, etc.)
My paladin is affected.
My druid is affected.
My warrior is NOT affected. My warrior is also fairly new.
All of these characters are in the guild.
My Out of Guild Characters are not affected.
